The little things add up.

Pippin is the books for small IT businesses. Every remote-support session, every device under management, every license you resell — tracked where it happens and carried straight through to the invoice.

We built it for our own shop first, because nothing else fit the way an MSP actually bills. We're finishing it now.

What it does

Seven things general accounting software has never done well for a managed-services shop.

Time that bills itself

Start a timer from your Mac's menu bar, a desktop widget, or your wrist. Set the service type and billable flag up front, and the hours land on the right invoice at the right rate.

Bank feeds and real reconciling

Connect your accounts read-only and match transactions in a view built for it — not a spreadsheet export. Pippin can never move your money.

Quotes that become invoices

Price a project once. Send it, get it approved, and turn it into an invoice without retyping a single line item.

Your stack, connected

Managed device counts from Addigy and license costs from Pax8 flow in on their own, so per-client margins are right without a monthly reconciliation ritual.

Receipts from the iPhone camera

Photograph a receipt at the counter and Pippin reads the vendor, date, and total off it. Assign the client and the billable flag before you're back in the truck.

A Raycast extension

Start and stop timers, log an expense, or pull up a client's balance without leaving the keyboard. The same commands the CLI runs, one hotkey away.

Your data, exportable

Ledgers, invoices, time, and expenses out as CSV, PDF, or a full journal export your accountant can import. Nothing in Pippin is trapped in Pippin.

Who's building it

Thirty-five years of running the kind of shop this is for.

CDS Group has protected and managed Apple fleets for Arizona small businesses since 1991. We're an Apple Technical Partner, and we've spent that whole time billing managed services out of tools that were never meant for it.

Pippin is what we wanted instead. Same principle as the rest of our work — solutions that provide the most efficiency to your business over the most profit for us.

yes, there's a CLI. and a Raycast extension.

We're still germinating.

Leave your address and we'll reach out when the beta has room. If you run an MSP, tell us what your current books can't do — we're still listening.
